Continued COVID-19 Response

The City of Pismo Beach remains committed to providing exceptional public services during the continued COVID-19 event. We continue to encourage electronic submittal of new permit applications by email to the appropriate staff member. Additionally, below are links to self-service options that you may use in place of visiting City Hall.

New Permit Applications:
All applications, plans, and support documents can be submitted electronically to Permit Technician Stephanie Wilson

Building Inspection:
The City will be conducting onsite inspections at this time. Social distancing and any other measures shall be followed for the safety of the public and staff. Inspections can be scheduled by calling the inspection request line at 805-773-7045 or schedule an inspection online.

Copies of Plans and Permits
To request copies of building permits and plans, please submit your request by email to Permit Technician Stephanie Wilson. Requests will be handled as Public Records Act Requests. Overview
The Building Division provides plan review, permit issuance, building inspection, and code enforcement services to the citizens and business owners of the City of Pismo Beach in a courteous, professional, and ethical manner.  It is our sincere desire to preserve and strengthen our standard of living and protect life, health, property, and public welfare through an effective administration and regulation of the building codes.
