How Do I Apply for a Permit?
Remodels: Fill out an application (you can find in our Documents and Forms under Building Division) and submit to email@example.com . Please attach a complete set of plans as a single PDF document plus any supporting information in separate PDFs. If you have any questions about fees, please call our Building Division at 805-773-7040. A plan review fee is required prior to review and a fee estimate will be provided by email once your application is processed.
Tenant improvements: It's a good idea to consult with a Planner prior to bringing in a submittal. Planning questions should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org . If you are ready to submit to the Building Division, we will require a completed application, plans, and any supporting documents in PDF format. A plan review fee is required prior to routing for review. Our Permit Technician can provide you with fee estimates at 805-773-7040. Please note that Fee estimates may change during the review process as the scope is determined.
New SFR's: These projects will require Planning approval prior to submitting to the Building Division. Once you have your Planning approval, your submittal package may be submitted to email@example.com. An application, plans, and supporting documents in separate PDF files will be required.
