Sidewalk Vending Permit


The following Ordinance for Sidewalk Vending Permits was approved by the City Council on September 15, 2020.  Applications for the Sidewalk Vending Permit is now available through the Business License Application!    For immediate questions or comments, please reach us at or call us at 805-773-7010.  

Instructions on filling out a Sidewalk Vending Permit and Business License Application:
  • Fill out the business license application here.
  • As part of the business license application, in the field that says "Please select the business type that matches your's best:  Select "Sidewalk Vending"
  • Review the City's Sidewalk Vending Permit Ordinance and check the box stating that you read and understand it.
  • Certify the various conduct and operating conditions as stated in the Ordinance.
  • Fill out the location of the sidewalk vending.
  • Upload the insurance requirements
  • Upload the Public Health Permit for food vending only
  • Submit a $100 non-refundable check to the City of Pismo Beach
  • Include your California Seller's Permit.
  • Fill out all other required * fields.
