Conference & Visitors Bureau - Board of Directors
Overview
As an advisory Board to the City Council, the Conference & Visitors Bureau (CVB) Board is a five-member Board. A Councilmember will serve as a Liaison and five members from the community are selected, representing interests in the following categories:
- Lodging /RV Parks/Vacation Home Rentals
- Restaurants (not connected with a Hotel/Motel)
- Retail
- Shopping Centers (resident and visitor serving)
- Downtown Commercial Core area
- Resident(s) not connected with one of the other categories
The Conference & Visitors Bureau Board of Directors are appointed by the City Council to:
Recommend contracts, budgets, policies, and operating guidelines for the operation of the Visitor Information Center and overall CVB work effort.
Meeting Schedule
The CVB Board meets the third Wednesday of the month at 3:00 pm in the City Council Chambers, 760 Mattie Road, Pismo Beach, unless otherwise noted.
Notices of public meetings and their agendas are posted on this website in the Archive Center and outside the Council Chambers at City Hall.
