Yes. Online registration opens 2 to 5 days before walk-in registration, which means participants who register online receive first priority. However the software company that provides this service charges a small convenience fee. However, the City offers a 4% discount on your online registration to help offset the convenience fee.

2. Why does the City offer a 4% discount on online classes?

Although the convenience of this system provides is worth the 6% additional cost, the City wants to ensure it is available to as many people as possible, so the discount will cover a portion of the 6% convenience fee registrants are charged to use this online system.

Yes, using the online registration the "My Account" feature allows you to view a detailed list of your past transactions with the Pismo Beach Recreation Division.
