How do I safely dispose of my home generated needles and syringes?
San Luis Obispo County IWMA has instituted a mandatory "Take-Back Sharps" ordinance that requires any pharmacy inside the county that sells sharps to take them back from the public for FREE. With help of grant funding, we supply local pharmacies with sharps containers to give out FREE to the public. Currently, there are 44 pharmacy drop-off locations found throughout the County.[Additional Infromation]
