Candidate Information

This page contains information about candidates for Mayor or City Council Member in the November 3, 2026 General Election, and their controlled committees. Candidates who file a Form 501 Statement of Intention, and/or obtain nomination papers, and/or file nomination papers will be shown on this page. Please note that a candidate appearing on this page may not ultimately appear on the ballot, if they do not formally qualify following validation of their nomination petition.

Campaign Finance Filings

Campaign finance statements and other filings for all candidates and committees are available in the Access Pismo public records portal. Unredacted copies of campaign finance filings are available upon request from the Clerk's Office.

Candidate Statements (Statements of Qualification)

The public examination period for Candidate Statements runs for a period of 10 calendar days immediately following the filing deadline for nomination materials. Candidate Statements will be made available for review in the Access Pismo public records portal and in person at City Hall. To receive these statements in an alternative format, please email the City Clerk at elections@pismobeach.org or call 805-773-7003.

Obtaining and Filing Nomination Papers

Nomination materials for this election must be retrieved and filed between 8:00 a.m. on July 13, 2026 and 5:00 p.m. on August 7, 2026 (extended to 5:00 p.m. on August 12, 2026 if an incumbent does not file). In accordance with Elections Code Section 10224.5, each candidate appearing on this page will be identified as either an incumbent or a non-incumbent. Incumbents for the offices to be elected have not been furnished nomination papers unless it is specifically indicated here.
