The City of Pismo Beach is currently under a mandatory order to Shelter at Home to limit the spread of the coronavirus or COVID-19.  At this time, the City of Pismo Beach will only be providing essential public services that are necessary to protect the health, safety, and welfare of our community.  In accordance with this order, the Planning Division Permit Counter is closed to the public.

Permit Processing:
Under the mandatory order to Shelter at Home, the Planning Division will be processing applications as expeditiously as possible. Accordingly, the below flowchart has been developed to help guide permit processing during this period.

New permit applications, including all applications, plans, studies, etc., shall be submitted electronically to Planning Manager Matt Downing and Administrative Secretary Elsa Perez.

Payment for project related fees can be made through the Official Payments website.
